Category Icons/New Thread Icon

I view Utehub almost exclusively through the recent posts view. Is there a way that we could get icons that represent the forums that the recent posts are from (I do realize that it says which forum the post comes from, but it’s easy to overlook)? Also, how difficult is it to change the new thread icons and get something like this?

Regarding your first question, that will involve hard coding PHP. I can do that, but it isn’t super easy.

Regarding your second question, that’s been on the list in my mind. The exclamation points which are almost the same color aren’t cutting it for me. Plus I think the avatars in the index and latest could either be bigger, or gone.
