After last night’s performance Hunter Dimick now leads the nation in sacks going into the weekend.
Pita T also had 3 sacks coming off the other edge last night. Hopefully we make a hot streak out of this in the final two games of the regular season, but I’m sure we’ll be seeing Oregon’s QB getting rid of the ball very quickly next week.
Another interesting stat from last night is the sack breakdown. Out of 11 total sacks Dimick had 5, Pita T had 3, Lowell got 1, Bradlee Anae got 1 and there was 1 sack attributed as a “Team” sack. I’m not sure how many of those sacks happened on downs where we blitzed but the five players responsible for sacks are all DLine guys, which means we were getting constant pressure only rushing four all night.
