Not all comments are replied are in order. If you there’s a big thread with multiple replies, you have to search by username or time to find the newest comment. A slight color change in background would make it obvious to the newest reply.
Are you talking about the home page or the forum pages? All comments on the home page are in order oldest to newest, with date and time marked in the bottom of each one.
I agree. I stay out of the Forums for the most part, because it is too hard to see new replies. Maybe bold the replies I haven’t seen? I hope that makes sense.
There’s a little graphic to the left in some of the forum views which shows threads which have NEW unread posts. See the little red NEW thingy in the left column of the attached image? You can can mark all the ones on the current page as read via the button in the upper right of that page.
