Nah. Don’t listen to your zoob friends. Alabama is amazing. Washington State will suck anytime it plays a team that has extended time to prepare for them. They are like Air Force. It’s a gimmick. If you have a week to prepare, they are really tough. If you have a month, they lose a lot of what makes them great.
Stanford beat the #1 pick in the draft.
Colorado wasn’t nearly as good as their record/ranking would indicate. I said this all year long, but look at the four best teams they faced:
Washington destroyed them.
Michigan destroyed them.
USC had a gazillion turnovers and still beat them.
If we had an average red zone offense, we would have beat them by three TD’s.
Utah won.
The PAC-12 is 2-2 (not counting the Alabama game and nobody beats Alabama). After tha Alabama game, the PAC-12 will be 2-3.
The SEC is 5-5 with some terrible losses in there. It’s bowl season. Some teams care, some don’t. Some teams have a month to prepare and do a lot better as well.
