Word is that Mike McCoy is likely out in San Diego

I know it’s just wishful thinking, but I would love to see the guy consider becoming Utah’s OC.  The pro game is so different than college.  You’re managing a lot of personalities and egos, and men worth millions.  College is about preparing to take it to he next level and proving yourself.

Imagine what Utah could do with a guy like McCoy on staff.

The best Christmas present I could be given this year would be for McCoy to join our staff as OC.

He has no interest in Coaching in college. He’s an NFL coach and if he’s let go in San Diego he will find an OC job in the NFL making a million plus a year.

If he does move to the college ranks, I’m guessing it will be as a HC somewhere.

It won’t happen, but I think he would be a good fit in LA. You want someone that can develop a QB, there you go.
