PAC-12 Rule on Conformity -> ’20 Fall Ball Fallout

There is a Pac-12 rule that “if there is a clear position from the league, then the representative has what’s called a ‘directed vote'”.

The vote to postpone football this fall appeared to be unanimous by university presidents, but it’s solely based on a Pac-12 rule that forces conformity.

Contractually, ADs and Presidents are not allowed to publicly disagree with the commissioner.

LS himself has said: “They’re really not supposed to use their judgment.”
