Promising #2 status and mop up duty as long at #1 stays healthy is one thing. The coaches should not have felt obligated to make #2 the interim #1 after the starter was injured, and then #1 after the starter had his season ending injury. In hindsight, certainly, making Wilson the #1 QB seems rather foolish.

Boxer, I am with you. I liked what I saw. I suspect they chose not to play him this season because we had a lot of WRs and he could redshirt.

I hope Isaac does not choose to leave the program. We had a lot of problems not related to the QB. Our offensive line was simply not very good IMO. The play calling was not good, etc., etc.

I still think that Wilson has the chance to be very good IMO.

with a competent offensive scheme and play caller, I expect a lot of players previously thought worthless to look a lot better.
