Big 12 officiating makes PAC12 officiating look like the NFL. That said, the refs officiating isn’t why we lost.

There’s 3 or 4 people in the booth for each side of the ball. Usually GA’s or Analysts who watch for specific things and try to identify trends. Since Bajakian isn’t just the QB coach, someone has to be keeping track of what the booth is seeing and communicate with the QB’s like all of the other position coaches do.

I would say that it’s the worst “return on investment” team in the nation. The amount of resources devoted to this team compared with what the end result is, well, let’s just say that if it was a business it would be entering Chapter 11 bankruptcy status.

Bad job, bad marriage, bad conference. Money should never come into play when you know it is not working. New PAC 12 looks like a safe harbor to tread until the money comes around again and it will. If I were Randall, I’d be making phone calls.

If the refs called it as punishment for the stupid ass criticism by Harlan even better. We need to stop blaming the officiating for this shitty team though. It is the worst team in College football.

To me, it didn’t look like Bottari had to get rid of the ball or he was going to be sacked, but. again, that’s just me. Was there a a defender in the area, yeah, sure…but it didn’t look like the guy was in his grill about to lay hands on him. I mean, Bottari wasn’t even scrambling for his life on the play…it looked like a straight dropback…

I agree with how the Fox crew evaluated it though. It wasn’t even close to a receiver and it avoided a sack.

When timeouts are valuable you can’t take sacks or commit stupid fouls which result in sacks. It is coaching.

Nobody looks invincible. This was a perfect year for a non-powerhouse team to make some noise, and perhaps even win it all. Sad we couldn’t take advantage of it.
