  We got a 3* CB JUCO player and the twins from Texas. Now if we can get 4* Harrison to join them it will be a great weekend recruiting wise.

  Looks like the juco guy is from blinn. I think that’s where Corrion Ballard came from?

    Yes, along with many other top JUCO players. They send a lot of kids to top power schools.

        The coaching staff had to have known his offer list before offering him a scholarship though, yeah? Maybe they saw something they liked or had a need to fill. I can’t imagine they would be purposely be inefficient with scholarships on a limited year. But yes, I agree, being the only P5 offer doesn’t look great on paper.
        
        I know our recruting still has a ways to go but I would have to imagine there’s a reason behind offering every single player. Or am I being dense?

  I guess that leaves four or fewer spots in this class. I hope Sewell and Olave or Enis are among them. I also think we need a RB in this class. I also forgot about Pututau. Down to the end here.

    yea, the fact that kwitt pulled the triggere on three low grade 3* tells you they dont have a lot difference makers on the line.
    
    this class will end up in the 40s and maybe 6th in the PAC.
    
    Not good enough to win conference championships. Yet most Ute fans will be indifferent to the fact that we lost even before we play the season.
    
    Top 25 class or make plans for Vegas every year.

      I was wondering about that too. We have big time recruits coming in next week. How much room do we still have?

        Wilson won more games than that and we just signed our highest rated QB commit ever. Plus the last two classes were our highest two ever. Not sure what you’re bitching about, but recruiting has been improving quite a bit over the last few years.

      Think of the remaining class like this:
      
      Tennessee Pututau – 4 star prospect (LB)
      
      Devin Brumfield – 3 star prospect (RB)
      
      Jackson Cravens – 3 star prospect (DL)
      
      Chris Olave – 4 star prospect (WR)
      
      Then add:
      
      Tufua – 4 star kid (already here) (DE)
      
      and
      
      Sione Lund – 4 star kid (from Stanford already here) (LB)
      
      Four – 4 star additions and two quality 3 star guys. Add that up and you’re pushing that top 30 aren’t you? In back to back years?
      
      Secondarily based on average star rankings (not number of players signed) before any of those 4 sign the class is ranked somewhere between 36-38. We don’t have the room to add 25 kids this year but what we do have in the fold or coming in the next few weeks is Top 30 worthy.

        Still a chance but would be a big surprise IMO. Frankly not sure on Olave either…could be replaced by Harrison who was here this weekend but also think that’s a stretch. Point is we’re still in the mix with some quality guys
