people are speculating that its:
– seperated shoulder
– broken collarbone
– broken rib
While I’m guessing that its not season ending, I predict we wont see him again till November
My source told me it is likely 2-3 weeks.
Same source who told me that Huntley would be the starter.
I dont know anything else.
I your source Larry B.?
My source is saying it was a fake injury. Troy Taylor is trying to throw Stanford off. We’ll see Huntley in 2 weeks!
I gave you an up vote, not sure who gave the down vote.
Shhhh you’ll ruin the surprise ;D
So back on or after Stanford/USC. The former I think we can handle. The latter, not so much without Huntely because our run game is not as good as it has been in years past.
USC please
Someone on here with good sources already said AC Seperation with a broken rib.
Everyone knows it’s a separated shoulder…question is, what grade?
Assuming Torg is right, I’m saying grade 1.
I don’t see Huntley on the field for 3-6 weeks if he has a broken rib and/or separated shoulder. If he does come out before then I would think he would be limited from a mobility standpoint. If he takes any hits he will be off the field in pain so the run game would be dramaticly limited by him not wanting to reinjure.
If I were Kyle I would insist Huntley was well enough to take hits. I say keep Williams in for the next 2-3 games. Let him work his style with the offense and then bring back Huntely when we can use his ability to run and scamble with out the fear of reinjuring himself.
Just look at last year with Rosen. He’d get hurt sit for a game then come back in and reinjure himself, which ultimatley led to him being out for the rest of the season.
This maybe a blessing in disguse because it will force us to develop a better run game with our stable of RB’s. I think Kyle and Taylor new they could circumvent the RB’s through Huntley and the throw game. Now they don’t have a choice.
Can we also guess about prognosis for Fitts? Has anyone heard anything? I saw somewhere that Anae is ok. What about Luafatasaga?
Kyle Whittingham said that to his knowledge there aren’t any season ending injuries. Pretty vague, but sounds good to me.
Google says:
Physiotherapy. Most patients with acromioclavicular joint injury start to feel better within a few days or a week of the injury. However, full ligament healing will take at least six weeks.

Curious if/how being a world class athlete affects that timetable.
If this was an injury for Carlos Boozer, he’d be out for at least 8 months.
(Not sure how many fellow Jazz fans there here)
Remember when he left for Chicago and had a hand injury for tripping over his gym bag? At least that what was told to the media when it was probably a DV situation.
I remember this. One of my buddies was like “dude, booz is already hurt and he just barley got to Chicago. Talk about karma for MJ pushing off all these years later.”
Haha.
