A lot has been mentioned about how our recruiting class this year is excellent. I hope that is proved on the court the next few seasons.
The three best recruiting classes in my lifetime:
1994:
Andre Miller, Alex Jensen, Brandon Jesse, Michael Doleac and Drew Hansen
1977:
Danny Vranes, Tom Chambers, Karl Bankowski, Martin
1972:
Mike Sojourner and Ticky Burden were both top ten recruits. Chas Menatti was also in this recruiting class.
All of these recruiting classes were excellent. I have to say that the 1994 is probably the best because these guys took us to a final four. Getting Sohourner and Burden in the same year was amazing at the time. Had they stayed four years, they would have been teamed up with Jeff Jonas and Jeff Judkins and could easily have been a final four team.
