Bracketology

The most recent Bracketology (2/15) by Joe Lunardi has the Utes in the “Next 4 Out”. While being listed out isn’t a good thing, it’s cool to see that Utah still has a real chance of making the tournament. Another big plus is Lunardi has 5 teams from the PAC-12 making the tournament. With 5 games left of the regular season plus the PAC-12 tournament, the Utes are still much alive for an at large bid.

A win tonight would be big, but it’s also probably the only game remaining that we could lose and still maintain a slim chance of getting in. Can’t go worse than 4-1 in these last 5 and I have to think a road loss at a decent Washington team would be looked on more kindly than a loss to Wazzu (death knell to a bid) or a loss at home.
