This is all irrelevant. This “cover up to save others” is bulls**t. Let your works stand for themselves. Open up the books. Let people see your inner workings. If you are good, then your works are good and people will rally around you. If you are bad, then people will leave and look for good. 

Covering up only hurts innocent people.

When you have an institution that handles serious issues “internally”, what do you expect. Anything that looks like a ‘black eye’ for their school and church is quietly swept under the rug. What ever happened to those girls that were kicked out of school for reporting they had been sexually assaulted? I haven’t seen anything but I’m sure nothing had been reported on Deseret News?
