Cam Rising taking over for Covey

Starting today, Cam Rising now has a weekly radio show with Bill Riley.  His first show is on right now.  I loved the Covey interviews.  I look forward to Cam Rising.  I think we will learn more about Utah football from these interviews than from any interview with KW.

Love these conversations…so glad they’re keeping them going with Cam. He gives much shorter answers to Bill’s questions than Covey did. I hope that’s just a comfort level thing and he’ll feel more comfortable to open up and share more insights as time goes on.

Covey is a unique person.  Look at his DNA.  Cam will be different than Covey and that’s fine.  I like his answers including:

– I am now a Utahn

– I feel like I am battling for my position every day.  I don’t take anything for granted.

– Jackson is an amazing athlete and has the strongest arm of anyone in the QB room.

– The PAC12 championship is in the rearview mirror.  That no longer matters.  Our goal is to make it to the final-4.

– He talked about spending a year with Ludwig in the press box.

– His favorite QB is Rodgers. (I didn’t like that, but oh well.)

Not my fault you made a mistake and totally overreacted. I responded to a post that was clearly joking about Arkansas, I made a subsequent joke about Arkansas… You jumped to conclusions, made an ass out of yourself, and instead of admitting you made a mistake, you are claiming I’m acting like a tough guy.

Trust me, the last thing anyone would call me is tough. Just pay attention to what you are responding to next time you want to tell someone they have the wrong opinion about something.
