Choosing not to play in a bowl game

Is the right thing to do IMO.  You would only get about a week of extra practice.

They are either tired, or more likely, short on funds to make this happen.  In years past, 7 and 5 years, Whitt had been adamant that it is important to go to bowls to continue growth and be recognized.  Interesting that that past drive to it if possible is not there this year.  Since it has not been a long season for the players, I expect it may have something to do with resources.  Whitt expressed it would be up to the players, if they would like a break from the tight lockdown, I understand.

This year feels to me like a 3-4 month spring camp ========== Wonder what the players feel like….

I talked to someone today that said it was the players decision to end the season.
