    Going out on a limb here, but I’m pretty sure most of the defenders making those “legal” tackles have no conscious effort at all to avoid putting their body weight on the QB. Looks like momentum prevented it.

    Well the first on Rodgers I don’t feel like he put his weight on top of him. It was a late hit that wasn’t flagged and didn’t need a NEW rule . But if you expect 300 lbs guys to stop their momentum it is a ridiculous technique to teach.
