Do you think the Ute defense takes as a challenge the fact that the suspension-depleted LSU Tigers kept the coogers from crossing the 50-yard line?   Do you think they will redouble their efforts after getting just one sack and no interceptions vs the Fighting Hawks?

Right, mea culpa. And last time the Utes faced Mangum, what, 3 picks?

Same Utah players who picked him 3 times playing him again Saturday?

            Does it matter?

Why not? Utah picked him off 3 times the last time and that means we’ll do it again this time? Is that logic or just wishful thinking?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m hopeful we will, at least 3 times.

You’re right, in 2015 TDS had some tall receivers, like Matthews, who could go up for jump balls.  Those guys are no longer on the roster.  Meanwhile Utah’s secondary is as good, or better, than 2015, so, yes, I’m looking for about 3 picks.

Our D is incredibly young and inexperienced.  They will not play as good as LSU’s 2nd team did.  After reviewing the film there was a lot of little things that we could have paid dearly for.  BYU will be able to exploit some of that.

Our guys will get better each game, but I don’t forsee a shut out by them.

17 true freshmen and 8 redshirt freshmen played. LSU had four freshmen in on defense for BYU’s first drive.

Show me some evidence that TDS is really as good as you think they are.  Utah has veterans on the DLine and corners who are going to play in the NFL.  Blair and Hansen are going to have a field day on Mangum.

I think the UTE D is tired of hearing, from everyone – even UTE fans, about how great LSU is, and how they are not as good. I don’t think that the zoobs can run on this Defense. I think that UTAH will completely shut them down.

Canada came in against Utah in Vegas and promply fumbled.  Not worried at all about anything the Y has on that offense.
