  Is Mizzou any good this year? I haven’t followed NCAA basketball at all for years.

  They handled Iowa State a couple of nights ago, usually a good team. But they are missing their best play, top recruit Michael Porter Jr. A freshman who is ranked as a top 3 NBA draft pick. Also, a new coach this year, Cuonzo Martin, Cal’s most recent coach.

    They trashed Iowa St. also without MPJ. Mizzou is a pretty good team even without their star.
    
    What Utah is doing tonight is an extremely positive surprise.

    Porter or not, this is a pretty impressive outing for the Utes. Some had Mizzou has high as 20 in their AP ranking cards. Utes were nearly a double-digit home dog according to gurus at the Vegas books.

    If the Utes play like that in my games this year, they’re going to be an NCAA Tournament team.
