Don't look now, but Utah's win @ Northern Illinois is looking better every day

The Huskies just won again (vs. Toledo). They’re now 7-3 overall and 6-0 in Mid-American Conference play. Their three losses are to us, @ Iowa, and @ Florida State. Did I mention that they won @ BYU? Utah’s the ONLY team to have won @ NIU this season. If they win next week against Miami (OH), they’ll clinch the MAC West. That’s a quality non-conference victory. They are clearly Utah’s best non-conference opponent this season (as I mentioned they won @ BYU), though Weber State is a close third to BYU. Anyway, if the Huskies win the MAC and their bowl game, they could end up ranked.

Weber looks to have a first-round bye in the FCS tournament, so they are probably the second-best team on your OOC this year behind NIU.

BYU is far below the level they played at a generation or two ago, but they are still better than Weber State.
