  Would it be a good idea for Scalley to go for this job? I am not aksing if it is good for the Utes, because it’s not. Would it be a good career move for Scalley?

  I have mixed feelings because USU is a dumpster fire right now. It could ruin your career or it could make it. I think USU would be smart to go after Scalley because he knows the state, is a great recruiter, and a proven D coordinator.

  Morgan will not sniff a HC job again for 5 years under perfect conditions and even then it is unlikely. No board of directors would want to take on that fire storm. Thinking someone would do it now? Even more laughable. He is a career coordinator now and that may be limited to a career coordinator at Utah.

  He’s very very comfortable at Weber but if he could turn USU back into a winning program it would set him up for a P5 gig.
  
  Or they can just hire Jim Harbaugh who’s gonna get fired from Michigan soon.
