Utah Volleyball Match 8: No. 7 Utah (7-0) vs. USC (1-4)
Sunday, February 14 12 p.m. MT
Salt Lake City, Utah | Huntsman Center
TV: Pac-12 LA/MT
After a straight set victory on Friday, #7 Utah Volleyball welcomes USC back to the Jon M. Huntsman Center for an afternoon tilt today.
In the last match, Kenzie Koerber and Dani Drews both had 11 kills to lead the team. Koerber filled out the stat sheet with 11 kills hitting .625 while also having four service aces, four digs and 4.0 blocks. In addition, Saige Ka’aha’aina-Torres put up 32 assists and had three service aces. Hopefully, more of the same can be expected from the trio this afternoon.
USC were without eight players on Friday due to a combination of team disciplinary measures and injuries, making no substitutions during the match. One wonders whether or not this personnel issue will persist during today’s contest.
Here’s to an 8-0 start!
Volleyball is great. I’m particularly fond of women’s beach volleyball.
Have you heard what’s happening with the Beach Volleyball season, @admin? I don’t see any info on the Beach Volleyball utahutes.com front page. I see the following at ncaa.com.
