The defense was amazing, especially considering your offense left you in the field all day. UW has an excellent defense and we were playing without four top offensive players. UW’s only TD was a fluke pick 6.
We showed we belonged there. We were in a position to win, but made too many mistakes.
I feel bad for Simpkins. Yes, he should have caught the ball. But, this game was much more than a single play. Can’t put the whole loss on him.
Horrible no call to end the game. Refs can’t miss that. Oh well. Proud of this team!
