They may just surprise you and overcome. Getting back on the field and doing what they love with people they love may be the only cure. It may not lead to a victory. But either way I think dedicate the remainder of the season to 22. Whatever happens will happen. But they love each other. And they love Their coaches.
If they choose to handle it that way fine, if they chose to curl up into a ball collectively and mourn rather than focusing on football that is equally fine. I’m just saying, they need support not judgement
