I’d just like to point out that Rylan Jones was significantly better than Pelle

as a freshman. If Jones stays, and can keep himself healthy, I think he’ll be good. People forgot very quickly that he is one of the all time greatest Utah High School basketball players. He’s basically the John Stockton equivalent of Utah HS ball.

Jones fr.: 10 pts, 4.5 ast, 1.5 stl, 3 rb

Pelle Fr.: 8 pts, 3 ast, .7 stl, 3 rb

Agreed on Pelle’s upside versus Jones’. I like Rylan and am VERY happy he is sticking around, but Pelle at 6’5” was more versatile and stronger against bigger guards.

Lol… if Jones was 6 ft 5, he’d be much better than pelle. Pelle is a big loss, and he brought more to the table in terms of utility because of his size. A healthy Jones proved he was a better point guard though. Similar shooting, better passing, better at running the offense even with objectively worse players around him than pelle had.

Lol…if Muggsy Bogues was 7’2 and weighed 300 lbs he’d have been better than Shaq. But he wasn’t because he was only 5’3”. Stupid argument dude.

wow… here you are calling what I said stupid when you are the one who apparently doesn’t understand the difference between one’s physical stature and their skill. Pelle is not more talented than Jones, he’s just bigger. That is the only thing that makes him a better prospect.

What is stupid is making an argument based on make-believe facts. “If Jones was 6’6”…then” He’s not nor will he ever be so it is a ridiculous argument to make. Maybe when you were in 6th grade you could live and argue in fantasy land but don’t do it here.
