IF the Utes won the NIT…

We have one NIT championship banner and an NCAA championship banner hanging from the rafters in the Huntsman Center.  What if the Utes won the NIT this year? Is that worthy of a banner?  I lean toward no.

They’d probably just add the year to the other NIT banner, like they do for the sweet 16’s etc

Add it to the banner why is this even being discussed?  I would say NIT is more legitimate than the Ncaa at this point. Rampant with paying players to attend. Who cares who wins the 2018 NCAA?  I mean this seriously it is a totally corrupt system.

The real question is: do they also get a downtown parade? I vote yes (I really don’t.)

Downtown Provostan?  Yes, they would do it.  Utes, no.  Some celebration with students and fans up on the hill, yes.

I still haven’t thought of a valid reason for a parade. I am including “patriotic” parades.
