Its going to take some time for these guys to gel. And you can practice all you want, but its almost impossible to replicate live game reps. Just as I would have said if we wont 66-7, you cant take much, if anything, away from this game. Im a little worried about our O-line, and that needs to get better QUICK. I said all last season that Booker waas somewhat “hiding” a poor o-line….We’ll see.

I would argue that Booker wasn’t necessarily “hiding” a poor O-line but instead allowing a decent O-Line to get away with “lazy” run blocking.

The talent is there but they were spoiled the last few seasons by a running back who had amazing vision and could take even the smallest hole and make a big play through it.

They’ll have to be much more focused and assignment-sound this season.

They have the ability. They just need to get focused and execute, sooner rather than later.
