It’s a good time to be a Ute because

1. We won the NCAA championship in skiing.
2. We were once again in the finals for gymnastics. I think we take this for granted because we are always there.
3. Two consecutive PAC12 football championships followed by two Rose Bowls. The team may be even better this year. (Really depends on Rising.)
4. We had the best football recruiting class in history.
5. Our women’s basketball team is amazing and I believe everyone is coming back.
6. Proposed new on-campus baseball stadium.
7. It’s always a good time to be a Ute.
What am I missing?

7. Emily Venters recently ran (3/31/23) the 6th fastest women’s 10k (31:48) in NCAA history. 

8. It’s always a good time to be a Ute. 

Gotta give it up to the track runners. That is not an easy sport.

I’d also add the real value of the school is students’ Graduation Success Rate (FSR). The Utes’ GSR was 93%, second in the PAC12 only behind Stanford at 96%. That’s the 4th highest GSR in P5 conferences.

Our softball team’s nationally ranked & just won the first two games in their series against #5 Stanford…..They go for the sweep in less than an hour.

The broom was brought out today, 5-4….Swept the #5 team in the nation!!

We might just move into the Top-15 this week.

Mens tennis is leading the conference (5-1) and 20-3 overall. I think they clinch if they split the last 2 in so cal.
