  Signs a new 4-year, 104 million dollar deal, total career earnings through the end of the contract is just north of 200 million. Awesome stuff for him and his family.

  Canadian taxes are brutal but he should be ok.

    I read in years past the NBA had some workaround for the tax and monetary rate, but that could be changed with all the recent squabbling and the “51st state” nonsense. I liked it better when we just called Canada “America’s top hat” and left it at that…

      What’s wrong with a 51 state? My hockey team is the Oilers and I’d love to see them as American.
