Haha! Utah 2, BYU 0!
Didn’t Utah have a DB named Joseph Smith a few years back?
Yeah, 2010-2014 I believe
If he doesn’t make it to Utah, that will be ironic.
Yes, ironic like ray-ee-ain on your wedding day.
Let’s hope this Joseph can also run almost two miles through difficult terrain and defend himself against violent assailants while carrying 50 pounds of added weight.
I carried about twice that in Marines while running further than 2 miles. These guys are much better athletes than Marines are. It’s not unprecedented.
Amen.
problem is gold is so dense a stack of plates like that of solid gold would weight 10x that
Preface to the Book of Mormon notes that the plates had “an appearance of gold.” Withnesses placed that weight at 40 to 60 pounds.
I don’t understand players committing this early
Just noticed, class of 25. I agree, too soon
It’s all about being the star of your own show. Keeping that commitment for the next 2+ years and actually signing is something to worry about down the road.
The bigger issue is why are “committable” offers allowed to go out before a kid is a junior in high school?
I was committed to my original university choice by 7th grade. This is not an uncommon experience.
Rory Gilmore was planning for Harvard since she was just a little tyke until her grandfather changed her mind.
