I am planning a trip out to Vegas with my girlfriend. This will be her first trip. I was wondering what suggestion you l guys had on things to do, places to see and where to eat. 

The only thing we really have planned is Cirque Du Soleil.

I must say though, taking a girlfriend to vegas is like bringing a sack lunch to a buffet.

I always go to Battistas Hole in the Wall for Italian. All you can drink house wine. Great dishes. Funky place. It’s across from Bally’s.

Downtown is pretty cool to walk around, and so is the new City Center.

What’s your price range for food? I can put you into everything from $2 pizza to $300 Kobe steaks.

Stay somewhere between Caesar’s and Mandalay Bay so you can walk everywhere.  Too many restaurants to name, but make sure to take her to a few decent ones(I recommend happy hour at the forum shoppes).  You can always find other discount shoes while you are there.

Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, Big Cats at MGM, Gondola ride at the Venetian, Ferris Wheel behind the Linq, Fountains at Bellagio, plenty more, just google and pick whatever sounds fun.

Hotel:  Wynn, Encore, Palazzo, Venetian or Belagio.

Food:  Mesa Grill, Hakkasan, Tao and Stripsteak

Show:  Ka at MGM

The damn is cool if you have never seen it.  Also helicopter tours of the Grand Canyon are cool.
