NEDERLAND, Colo. – Joachim Lien won his second race of the season and Roni Remme earned her first podium of the year for the Utah ski team in the slalom races at the Colorado Invitational on Thursday, Jan. 16, as the Utes moved into the team lead in overall standings.
Utah overtook Colorado in the team standings, holding a 324 to 312 lead with Denver third with 301.5 points. Utah has won the alpine portion of both meets held this season.
