The Beavers finished with 535 yards of offense, including 322 on the ground. The game wasn’t as close as the score suggested, as the Trojans were down by as much as 42-17 early in the fourth quarter.
Flip side, OSU will not be easy.
Could be
Every week, every team in the conference is its own animal. I think what we see each game will be a complete surprise…some positive, some negative. Just enjoy the ride…
As weird as the P12 is, somehow USC could pull off winning the South playing sandlot ball with all of their athletes.Drake London is amazing. The South is up for grabs. Comes down to which team is the least unmotivated to show up for games. UofA hanging in with Oregon for a good part of the game last night was a head scratcher.
The Arizona game really wasn’t that odd. Fisch has them playing hard and competing. The talent finally took over in the 4th quarter. Remember how that was?
I think it was third and 33, Slovis took a big sack then a false start. Drake London was playing hurt kind of gimp by the fourth. Broadcast crew discussed what kind of play you draw up for this scenario? Basically said just toss a 50/50 ball to London and get a PI.
That is how dangerous USC is. Also watching the game it felt like there was two different officiating crews.
You can take it to the bank that USC will play out of their minds against Utah.
Idk the game after they play us they play ND and they get a bye week. They could theoretically mentally check out.
USC will play out of their minds against Colorado next week. I think this is the first time since we got on their level (competitively) that we didn’t catch them at home the week after the yearly USC meltdown/correction.
Going to be a very emotional game, Who knows how the team will respond.
