Northwestern vs Vandy — I do not understand why the Vandy kid took that long 3-pt shot when Vandy has had success driving into the paint.

I didn’t watch the game, but send a huge congrats to Northwestern for their first ever NCAA tournament win!

Saint Mary’s looks pretty good. The Utes certainly could use a few of its players.

We could’ve used another Utah State transfer — Carson Shanks. He’s a decent, junior 7 footer at North Dakota.

Kind of a ho-hum opening day, but I did attend the early session in Salt Lake and the Northwestern Vandy game was entertaining.  Wildcats brought a ton of very enthusiastic fans which made for a great atmosphere.
