      The council also decided that D-I football players will be allowed to play in up to four games in a season without losing a year of eligibility if they can no longer play because of injuries.

      Will be interesting to see how this impacts the NCAA football environment

      So with this change, does that mean our transfers, like Sione lund, will be eligible to play immediately?  The trib didn’t specify if there was a waiting period or not.

      Does this mean coaches can play a freshman the first four games and then fake an injury and save his red shirt? Is there anything to prevent this from happening?

        DKNY even need to fake the injury. Just bench him.
