Not giving you crap, just saying he switched to Utah a week or so ago.  Today he actually signed(I believe).  Good get, we need a safety with some experience

This would hopefully also give us an advantage with recruiting his siblings. Things could have turned out different with PeneI if his older brothers were already Utes.

Is signing less talented older siblings worth it if it means a greater chance at signing the super talented one?

In my opinion, yes. This has worked out very well for teams in the past, though the examples I can think of don’t exactly fit the older brother is less talented narrative (thinking Kruger bros for us, and TDS had the Reynolds boys, I know there are others).
