new intra pac12 transfer rule?

so… whats this I hear about no one year wait period for athletes that transfer from one Pac12 school to another?

 

On the surface that seems like a bad idea, but I’m not sure how I really feel about it yet.

When a player transfers they generally have to sit a year. If they transferred within the PAC 12 conference they would have to sit a year and lose a year (2 year penalty). With the new rule they will still have to sit a year, but won’t lose a 2nd year.
