Thought it might be helpful to share the updated PAC-12 championship game tiebreaker rules for those who will need to reference it or want to bookmark it, because the new conference championship format is going to be stress inducing this year.

For Utah, there is probably no room for error and USC is a must-win. With USC being better, there probably wouldn’t have been much room for error in the old format as USC misses Oregon and UW this year.

UW misses Utah. At this point, WSU and OSU can’t be counted out as menaces. We could hope the North teams all take turns canabalizing each other to create a bit more space at the top. History says there won’t be any teams with an undefeated PAC-12 record.

Get complicated.  Indeed best to just win all your conference games, but this is a much improved conference this season.

And everybody loses in the PAC-12. Nobody is winning out.
