      3. 3-point line extended by 1′ 8″

      4. Shot clock resets to 20 after offensive rebounds.

The NIT Board of Directors all gathered around in the conference room and answered the age-old question:  “How can we make our tournament even MORE of a joke?”

They should include a rule that allows 5 steps to get to the basket if it is followed by an amazing slam dunk.  Seems to work in the NBA…

They missed a real opportunity to go full international rules and allow goaltending. Wouldn’t surprise me to see most if not all of these rules implemented in the near future. The women’s game has already gone to quarters, leaving men’s college basketball as I believe the only level of basketball anywhere that still uses halves.

I’d like to see the rule where the refs get the foul calls correct, and call them even for both teams.

The last one is hilarious. Probably purely a publicity stunt
