Looking like a tall order to beat them at Autzen, they’re handling UCLA pretty good at the moment.
Yeah for sure. They are looking solid right now, the way our defense has played up to this point this year, I think we will have a very difficult time stopping them. Luckily we have three more games to maybe figure it out.
You have to get to Nix and fluster him. fUCLA defense isn’t that good. Utah really didn’t attack the defense and made way too many unforced errors.
That onside kick was ballsy to. I think fUCLA is done.
This Utah team hasn’t really showed that they can pressure a mobile QB very well…..
They did once or twice against USC in that second half which was the difference. You will have to keep up with Oregon. Match the scoring with 7 of your own.
fUCLA making it 16 just feels like a waste at this time. All of the PAC defenses are just not that great imo.
Win out, or it’s UO vs USC in the P12 CG 🤮
Let’s just win out and see how it goes.
I do’t think there was a single punt in the first half.
We’re capable of outscoring them as we demonstrated against USC.
Capable, yes, but I don’t see it happening in a hostile environment like Autzen.
The environment won’t be anything new to us…..Irrelevant…..Don’t turn the ball over multiple times & we’re capable of outscoring them.
Not to add to everyones anxiety but head to head is thrown out if there is a 3 team tie. Meaning Utah could defeat USC and Oregon and watch them play in the championship game if all 3 are 8-1 because of Utah’s loss to UCLA who would be the 4th best team. Yes that is how it works. SMH
That’s not true. The multiple team tie break (which would throw out the head to head since oregon and usc miss each other) only seeds the first team. It goes to a two team tiebreaker after that, which would be head to head. No scenario leaves out utah if they win out.
Multiple-Team Ties
In the event of a tie between more than two teams, the following procedures will be used. After one team has an advantage and is “seeded”, all remaining teams in the multiple-team tie-breaker will repeat the multiple-team tie-breaking procedure. If at any point the multiple-team tie is reduced to two teams, the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied.
Yes, but the key is here:
“After one team has an advantage and is “seeded”, all remaining teams in the multiple-team tie-breaker will repeat the multiple-team tie-breaking procedure. If at any point the multiple-team tie is reduced to two teams, the two-team tie-breaking procedure will be applied. “
The multiple team tie break only seeds one team. When it gets down to two, it will he head to head
Here is another fun with the Trojans running the table and knocking out the Bruins with their second Pac-12 loss. Utah also continues its run over the second half of the season and defeats Oregon in the Nov. 19 matchup. Assuming that is Oregon’s only loss it would be a three-way tie between Oregon, Utah and USC. Since USC and Oregon once again did not play each other, the tiebreaker heads to a common opponent situation: Oregon State, UCLA, Washington State, Arizona, Stanford and Colorado.
Here are the records:
USC: 6-0
Utah: 5-1
Oregon: 6-0
The Bruins saves the Trojans!
USC and Oregon play in the Pac-12 Championship.
That writer is misreading the tiebreaker, hate to break it to you. Each scenario moves one team into a seed, not two
Flipping between Oregon and BYU games. It is crazy to clearly see the difference in talent between the games. BYU is not good.
Liberty uniforms look eerily similar to Utah’s.
