  P12 has been down for several years, but there is still some elite teams in the conference. USC and Oregon recruit as well as most other blue bloods, and it only takes one good game like Oregon is having for there to be a renewed national interest in these programs and the conference as a whole.
  
  Brand matters.
  
  When elite teams perform well, people tune in.

  It is also a big reason why we shouldn’t make too big of a deal of an under or overwhelming performance in the first few games. Lots of people were trashing on Oregon for struggling with Fresno St.

    I honestly think Washington was prepping for Michigan and did zero prep for Montana. I still think ,Michigan wins, but we’ll see a different Husky team.

    Haha or maybe Ohio st will. Damn their defense is bad. Oregon oline are rolling over them. Oregon in the fourth quarter on the road single score lead giving me pause.
    
    Edit: Two score lead and Ohio st defense has given up? Think they got this maybe.

    Great game by these two teams. OR looks pretty loaded – talent wise this is what 4-5 stars get you. But this is why you play the game – goooooo Utes! Haha the pathway to the CFP is set with this victory for the Pac, seize the day Utah!

      Interesting to see this thread now in light of how the season played out.
      We’re going to see how we match up against tOSU and the Ducks face the Stoops-coached Sooners. Both had high CFP hopes at one point; 2021 was chaotic for so many ranked teams. Wonder if Whitt still talks to Urban…
