One of the kickoffs in the 2nd quarter, I swear the ucla player stepped out of the end zone and kneeled on the half yard line.  No one noticed, so touchback and advance to the 25.  I cannot wait to see the replay, I might be a drunk Ute, but I’m pretty sure I saw what I described.

I guess the new rule allows kneeling anywhere, even without the fair catch

That is also true – since it’s a fair catch it’s on the 25 regardless now

Saw the same thing, he did step out and down it but he called for a fair catch. So the ball was down when he caught it in the end zone, he didnt need to kneel
