Pac-12 Tourney

Utes play today in the first round of the Pac-12 tourney, 3PM (MT) vs. Washington. Should be a competitive game, although Washington is down a couple players due to injury so hopefully we can pull it out. Winner gets to play Oregon….

Go Lady Utes! It has to be a tough go to try to be competitive in this conference with all the great women’s programs here. Lynn Roberts does a great job and to not finish at the bottom every year is an accomplishment.

Should be a good one. With its current good, young core, plus next year’s top-20 recruiting class, hopeful we’ll start to make some noise soon.

Utah women’s team seems to have similar issues as men’s…no defense and out of control.

They’ve definitely had more turnovers lately than you’d like to see. Part of that is likely their youth, the vast majority of minutes are played by freshmen and sophomores. On a positive note, they have stretches every game where they take care of the ball and hit a few shots and they are really good, just need more of them….
