Its one of the conference wide nicknames. Like Spoiled Children for USC or University of Cal for Low Achievers for UCLA. One of those traditions we’ve learned since joining.
I wish we were cool enough to have a nickname! So far, I haven’t seen anything that we don’t already call ourselves – ‘da two utes’ or some lame play on polygamy.
Once we win the conference, I’m sure the insults, ahem, nicknames will come.
