Man, that’s really sad.

It used to ruin my whole week when the Utes would lose.  As I’ve gotten older, it finally dawned on me that I was tying my emotional well-being to the actions of a bunch of kids.  Don’t get me wrong, the USC game still p**ses me off, but not enough to contact players on social media.  Sheesus.

Honestly, I would say a lot of die hard fans from every sport at every level (even those who don’t make death threats) need to dial it down a notch. If your happiness is seriously affected by your team losing, that’s probably not good for your mental health.

There’s plenty of other things going on in the world that honestly should affect your happiness – why let sports be another one?

This sounds crazy. You never wish a death on a child because he/she made a sportsball mistake.
