Edit: Also, just had an interesting thought. We have 3 Texas QBs on the roster competing for the spot next year. Shelley and Powell both played HS in Texas. Rising and Powell both transferred from TX schools.

Here will inevitably submit a waiver. As many schools found out, that opens the door for him to play next year. As we found out firsthand, that doesn’t mean his waiver will be accepted or it could even be accepted the final week of the season.
