What happens if a player transfers after spring ball?  Would he be eligible to play that fall for his new team?

No I don’t think so. I read something on a Miami QB that is transferring now and I believe he has to sit a year still. That deadline that Tuttle hit means he can play though.

Only graduate transfers. Transfers to other conferences have to sit a year, transfers within the conference have to sit two years potentially unless released by the previous head coach.

Unless the player is a grad transfer, he has to sit out two semesters without being granted a waiver by the NCAA.
