So I’m at the dentist this afternoon getting a crown fixed. Let’s make a deal is on the TV with the sound off but the closed captioning on. Based on the little I could glean, it was apparently teacher’s week.

Dentist finally stops trying to stick his whole fist down my throat – not sexual, just a dentist thing – and I look up at the TV. Some lady who is dressed as a traffic cone is answering questions and I see “played for the University of Utah in the Rose Bowl”. Doc went back for thirds so I couldn’t see anymore but I thought it was neat that a teacher had called out one of her former students as playing in the Rose Bowl on semi-national TV. Of course, I’ll need to you tube to figure out which player it was.
