Re-Watched the Washington Game.

1- Huntley was incredible. If that’s the Huntley we have…holy sh!+.

2- Fotu and Penisini were great. They shut down the middle for Washington. Lotulelei and Mokofisi were…not good. When they manned the middle, Washington’s went up and down the field.

3- Blackmon miss timed that INT. That would have been a pick six. Instead, TD for Gaskins.

4- Huntley was GREAT. Great reads, great throws. He made some throws that haven’t been made since Smith.

5- ST and Whitt were amazing. Onside kick, fake punt. Wish was great.

6- It’s too bad Singleton isn’t still here.

7- Great catch by Jake Jackson. Perfect throw by Huntley. Did I mention how great Huntley was in this game?

8- Washington HITS.

9- Anae was great. He was better than great. He destroyed double teams. Anae, Fotu, Penisini were incredible. Lowell didn’t even really play the second half. Fotu was amazing.

10- Blackmon is a great CB. Shut down, can hit, good tackler. Johnson was picked on all game. Especially the second to last drive. Blackmon is as good as Utah fans think Johnson is. Every pass on the drive that ties the game was completed vs Johnson except the last TE seam toss. Johnson will get there and may end up better than Blackmon. But he isn’t Blackmon yet.

Great game. Some games you aren’t meant to win. Blackmon won’t miss that INT next time.

I can’t wait to see Huntley this fall.

Not sure what to take away from Anae for that game, Washington’s starting left tackle was out for that game.

Man.  If only one of our D linemen fell on that fumble on that last 3rd down, the game would have been over.  Definitely a game of inches.

Absolutely. Or in the third (I think), Blackmon had a sure fire pick six. He miss timed the jump, the ball went to Gaskins, TD. 14 pt swing. 

The coaches called a perfect game. Everything was perfect. The way Scalley attacked Browning. The way Taylor attacked their LB’ers. The fake kick and punt. 

Everything was a masterpiece other than the final score. So close. 

Some days, the god’s don’t want you to win.

The most overrated thing ever. He he not called the timeout, we are headed to OT. We were miles away from a win there. 

The biggest problem from the game was Blackmon’s missed INT. That’s it. And the coaches had him in the right spot to make a play.

Yup. Whitt knew our shot at winning in OT was close to zero. He went for the jugular and failed. 

Im ok with that. Sometimes the other team is just better. If Blackmon intercepts that ball, it’s irrelevant. 

If our coaches coach how they coaches in that game, we win 90% of our games.

Huntley was great except for the three and out to end the game after Browning tied it up. Eight yard run, almost INT, fumble to end up short and then the time out. Horrible play calling to end that game by Utah. Panic all over for giving up the lead. Even the punt by Wishnowsky was awful on fourth and one.
