This is an unfair and totally biased poll based on where it is hosted.
This is nonsense. McGill and Estes are probably the two best players in the state’s history and neither will make it our of the second round. The problem is – so few remember these two greats.
I urge everyone not to participate in this “Jimmered” poll.
I would personally love nothing more then to see Jimmer lose, it would make me very happy.
But, by rules of Jimmering, he will win it all.
Well he did take a team all of the way to not the final four or national championship.
If the National Champion had been determined by an online poll they would have won by the largest Jimmered margin evah!
I have tried but it won’t take my vote. I’m still shocked that Bolomboy beat out McGill. Just not right.
If I’m being intellectually honest:
1. Danny Ainge should probably win the whole thing.
2. Andrew Bogut losing to Sam Merrill is a crime against humanity
3. Keith Van Horn is #2 in the state and it’s a shame he won’t face Ainge in the final
4. Jimmer was exciting and good, but he definintely shouldn’t be considered the greatest. I’d take about many other players of him off that list…. Ainge, Van Horn, Bogut, Andre Miller, Damian Lillard, Kyle Kuzma, Michael Doleac, Ferrin, Yoeli Childs, and Poeltel.
Biased opinion is Miller because he played for a title but ran out of gas losing to Them.
Eyeball test is Lillard which includes his NBA time. He most likely will be a HOF player.
That’s not what “eye test” means.
Dude, Andre Miller would wipe the floor with Ainge. Miller was a better college player and a possible HOF in the NBA.
No BYU player can hold a candle to Miller.
I basically hate that you posted this and made me start to care about it a little. Carroll over Vranes???? So much lack of knowledge in that voting with a HEAVY skew to the modern players.
We talking best player while in college, or best player overall? If it’s the latter, then in Lillard, and it ain’t even close….
