Would Gary Anderson consider coming back as DC? I am not impressed with Scalley.
I would love that. I agree with Scalley. We are bland, undisciplined, and bad tacklers. W are vey passive defensively too
Wonder if KW would bring him on at least as a “consultant”. Our D line has regressed. They were strong under Gary.
Why not? We all know Utah has always been GA’s dream job. If he does well, he’ll be next in line for HC when KW retires in 2021
God NO. If the current coaching staff hasn’t been successful at winning the PAC, why bring in a former utah assistant coach who failed at Oregon State, and left a job like Wisconsin?
Because he is a proven defensive coordinator and our defense sucks.
Proven DC at G5 level, okay, where was he proven at a P5 level? Wisconsin, OSU were neither stellar defensively under GA…
Utah?
Nice edit.
Wasn’t GA the DC when Utah lost to UNLV 27-0… Sounds fabulous. Bring him on.
And lost to tds in back to back seasons. Sounds like a great hire. Bring him on. 😂 Calm down people… GA isn’t making this defense any better.
He was also the DC when Utah beat top 5 Alabama 31-17 and top 10 TCU 13-10 in 2008. So yeah, I agree, it does sound fabulous.
How’d OSU and Wisconsin do under GA again? Oh yeah he lost to Utah both times, SMH.
Well, he wasn’t the DC at either of those places so I don’t know what that has to do with him being the DC here. He did beat Utah while at Utah State if that is your measuring stick, but again he wasn’t the DC. Wisconsin was 9-4 and 11-3 while Gary was there.
OSU’s D is just as bad as this defense.
He’s looking like a burnout case. Not sure anything good will come from putting two of them together.
